FAQs

Epsilon Supported Living offers Learning Disabilities & Autism and Mental Health care.

Supported living (or supportive living) is a service that helps people with a range of support needs retain their independence whilst still having that extra physical and emotional support needed to lead completely fulfilled lives in their own homes.

Feeling comfortable, happy and safe in your home is crucial to your wellbeing and development, so we work hard to create such environments. Whatever a service user’s needs are, ESL endeavours to provide a home that is as individual as you are. We attempt to secure property via other sources to meet specific needs as opposed to offering existing housing as the only option. Where people shared service, a compatibility assessment will be completed to ensure living in shared accommodation is right for them. We take the time to get to know each person to understand what location, accommodation and adaptations will be best suited to meet their current requirements and future goals.

Our support care plans are created after we’ve really got to understand a service user and have a clear knowledge of their history, current situation and future goals. Through in-depth conversations with the person, their family and any relevant care professionals involved in their life to ensure we have all the necessary information and have taken the time to hear each person’s views and wishes, we then develop a plan tailored in a person’s need. Once a supported living support plan is in place, we regularly review progress, recognising and celebrating every achievement and continuing to encourage each person to set new goals to achieve even more.

You must contact your GP or social worker in the first instance to arrange an assessment. When you contact us, will then carry out the assessment together with you and/or your family to gain a full understanding of your needs and goals, which will allow us to determine if we can support you correctly. This process is part of our initial pre-admission procedure.
